Elderberry Creek Alpacas is located 5 miles east of Stayton (15 minutes east of Salem) just off Old Mehama Road. We began in August of 2004 with the purchase of two huacaya males, Biscotti and Cocoa. Within weeks we were hooked on these adorable creatures and purchased three pregnant huacaya females, Heloise, Miss Rosie, and Juliet.
Visitors are welcome any time we are home. Just give us a call and we will share our excitement about these exotic animals and all the products made from their luxurious fleece. We invite you to visit our farm store where we sell everything from raw fleece to ready-to-wear clothing, cool weather to warm weather (yes! Warm weather!) clothing, casual to classy. Our products are hand-selected in Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, and Chile and are made by the finest artisans in their craft. We also have products made from our own herd's incredibly soft fleeces.
We are dedicated to bringing the unique qualities of the alpaca to our community by means of education and the sale of our products. We are happy to share our experiences either at our farm or on site and encourage you to bring your children to the farm or schedule either a field trip or an on-site presentation at your local school.
