Fern Hill Ranch is located about 20 miles southwest of Salem, Oregon in the scenic Willamette Valley. Both alpacas and people enjoy the breathtaking 360 degree view of the surrounding farmlands and mountains.
Owners Jerry & Polly McCrea became interested in raising alpacas after reading about them in USA Today in 1994. After visiting several local ranches, Polly fell in love with the gentle,
easy-going animals and Jerry liked the business aspects. They both liked the people they met.
Keeping the herd small ensures that each alpaca receives plenty of loving attention. All alpacas are halter-trained and hand-fed. Jerry & Polly would love to have you visit, whether you're breeding, boarding or buying, you'll find cool prices and warm hospitality.
