Ryan & Sami Jenkins
Sami has grown up and been around alpacas since 1992. Her Grandmother purchased the original 3 alpacas that formed JCS Alpacas with her parents, Jim & Carolyn Morton. Having seen all the rewarding aspects of owning these wonderful critters, we decided to start our own farm, thus came “Gold & Silver Alpaca Ranch”.
Why Gold & Silver? Our theme in life has always been gold and silver, our friendship and later our marriage took after the “Friends” poem; “Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other is gold”.
Our ranch goal is to remain small yet focus on outstanding huacaya alpacas in the dark browns to rose grey colors.
Currently our animals are boarded with Chappell’s Alpaca Junction in Junction City, but we welcome visits to their farm and we can all sit and “hummmm” together about alpacas.
